Matt Knowles

You may know Matt as a frequent attendee of the WCHC and three-time award winner in the costume ball. Creator/owner/operator of Carriage Way Cemetery and Chief Technical Officer of Creatures of the Night, in West Linn, Oregon, Matt has been haunting for decades since his first alien costume with blinking lights over 40 years ago (Thanks RadioShack!). Carriage Way Cemetery (https://www.facebook.com/carriagewaycemetery/), started 15 years ago and has grown into a popular local home haunter display entertaining children of all ages with hand crafted tombstones, animatronics and light and music shows. He has been featured in local press and TV over the years. With Creatures of the Night, an Oregon-based haunter group, Matt is always looking for new ways to innovate--from 360 video engagement / promotion to VR (Virtual Reality) and AR (Augmented Reality). Matt has a PhD in chemistry and over 24 years working in the high tech industry where he has published numerous technical articles.
