Make & Take A Press Release For Your Attraction

The ‘Make & Take Press Release’ course gives attraction operators the opportunity to create and leave with a press release to use for their attraction. Students will receive an introduction to the basics of press releases, discover how to find ‘newsworthy’ elements in their attraction, and work from a template to write their release. This is an entry-level course recommended for members of the marketing, sales, or operations teams who do not have press release writing experience. NOTE: Students will be expected to work in groups, to have a means of writing, and to have information on their attraction readily available in order to complete the session. Objectives: Define Newsworthiness Outline the components of a Press Release Apply the components to create a Press Release Class Level: Beginner
